China has established the largest EV charging network in the world to date, with the highest number of facilities, the broadest coverage, and the most advanced technology.

To support and facilitate the development of the EV charging requirement, State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) has announced the « EV infrastructure and standardisation in China » in October 2013. Battery swapping technology is one of the key infrastructures for EV charging.

The stations can be built and start services in days instead of gas station which need massive construction and lengthy approval process.

It also takes away the battery related technical issues and concerns from users. The EV always use optimized and good conditional battery. 

Capacity of a single battery swapping station is equivalent to 80 - 100 individual charging stations.

Battery swapping technology can serve massive numbers of EVs with very small footprints in strategic location, install and start services in days. Charging stations to each driver or vehicle can be costly, however with this technology a battery is kept in maintenance or even replaceable at a lower cost.

Battery swapping makes it possible for people to buy new electric vehicles without the battery, whose cost will be lower than a combustion engine-based vehicle. Battery swapping should be a public network asset, and we are investing in that network.
